Representation should leave a record

The record

Every candidate says they’ll listen. Being heardis different — it means what you said leaves a record, and the record comes back to you. So I’m starting with the one record I control.

I publish mine first.

Before I ask anyone else to be measured, my own office’s record goes live first:

  • wards visited
  • issues residents raised
  • meetings held
  • what moved
  • what stalled
  • what I pushed for
  • what I couldn't move alone

Built only on public information. Updated regularly. Measured hardest — by design. (This is not about embarrassing anyone. It’s about making representation real, starting with me.)

Status

The first public record goes live [date]. Until then: this explainer, and an open door.

This runs on openRochester, the civic tool I built to track how the city actually works.
